Land Rover InControl® Apps™ Overview

Download this app onto your smartphone and sync it with your pre-owned Land Rover model from Victory Mitsubishi, and you’ll enjoy seamless access to up-to-date navigation information, music streaming, and some of your favorite apps through your infotainment screen. How Do I Set Up Land Rover InControl® Apps™?

Installing Land Rover InControl® Apps™ on Your Compatible Smartphone:

1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone. Use the search function to find the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ application.
2. Download and install the app onto your phone.
3. Once installed, find the new Land Rover InControl® Apps™ application icon on your phone screen. Tap it to get started.
4. Follow all the instructions in the Auto Quick Start Guide to finish setup.

Connecting Your Smartphone to Your Vehicle:

1. Open your smartphone’s Bluetooth interface and ensure Bluetooth is enabled. Once it is, your Land Rover model will appear in the compatible devices menu.
2. Using your smartphone’s compatible USB cord (not the charger), plug your phone into the InControl® Apps™ USB port in your Land Rover. 
3. Tap the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ icon on your smartphone to start the application.
4. If your phone prompts you to allow permissions, select “Always Allow” for seamless smartphone integration going forward.
5. Keep your smartphone unlocked and set it aside. Select the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ icon on your Land Rover infotainment system. 
6. Select “View” to find apps without audio or “View and Listen” for apps with audio.

Though several apps are available through this advanced suite of connectivity systems, some may appear greyed out. If your favorite app appears grey on your infotainment screen, it is considered a “third-party app,” which will need to be manually approved. To approve third-party apps, follow these steps:

1. Select the grey third-party app on your infotainment screen. A pop-up with detailed instructions will appear. Read the instructions and tap “Start.”
2. A new pop-up will appear on your smartphone’s screen. Tap “Approve.”
3. On your vehicle’s infotainment screen, tap the “Home” icon.
4. Another notification will pop up on your smartphone. Tap “Approve.”
5. Repeat this process for every grey app on your Land Rover.
