 The average maintenance cost for a 2007 model year Lexus in its 10th year was estimated at $590, compared to BMW, the most expensive brand on the list, with $1,125 in maintenance costs during its 10th year.

YourMechanic’s Findings on Lexus Maintenance Cost

YourMechanicdid a study in 2016 on the most expensive cars to own. Is Lexus maintenance expensive according to that study? This study found that Lexus is significantly less expensive to maintain than other luxury brands like BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Jaguar, Volvo, Mini, Porsche, Acura, Land Rover, and Buick. The only brands the beat Lexus in this study were Toyota and Scion. Here’s what they found:

Lexus models were estimated to have $7,000 of total maintenance over 10 years, compared to BMW at $17,800 total maintenance over 10 years.
