New York Botanical Garden


The New York Botanical Garden is one of the jewels of the wider Mount Vernon and New Rochelle areas, with hundreds of acres of expansive gardens to explore. Educational programs for all ages and for a large range of interests are available at the gardens, as well as rotating guests and lectures for those most interested in various environmental and horticultural topics.  New York Botanical Garden Areas

The gardens offer dozens of individual areas for you to explore or simply wander, each with their own unique and beautiful composition. Here are just a few of the many areas you can find depending on the season:

New York Botanical Garden Tickets

All entrants to the garden need tickets, and they can be quite inexpensive, especially considering the huge value of what they provide access to. There are several options, such as the All-Garden Pass, New York City Resident Grounds Access Pass, various Community Access Programs, and options for members and patrons. Here is a run-down of the All-Garden Pass and New York City Resident Grounds Access Pass.

All-Garden Pass:

This provides daytime access to Around the Table, Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, and Tram Tour, plus Garden features including the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden and outdoor collections.

Adults: $30

Students (with valid ID)/Seniors (65+): $28

Children (2-12 years): $15

Children Under 2: Free

Patrons/Members: Free

New York City Resident Grounds Access Pass

For NYC residents only, proof of residency is required for this pass. It offers access to outdoor gardens and collections, such as the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden.

Adults: $15

Students (with valid ID)/Seniors (65+): $7

Children (2-12 years): $4

Children Under 2: Free

Members: Free
