Located at the New York Hall of Science, you’ll be able to see food, art, and merchandise vendors from all around town in this open-air venue. Get a bite to eat off the beaten path, find a new lamp or sculpture for your place, and be present with every walk of life at the Queens Night Market.

Celebrate Brooklyn

Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park is where you’ll find this series of free concerts and movie showings. In honor of its 35th anniversary, you can see Spike Lee’s classic Do the Right Thing on the big screen in the great outdoors.

Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks

One of the largest Fourth of July fireworks displays in the area, the East River will be lit up red, white, and blue (and all the other colors) on July 3. Tillary and Adams in Brooklyn is where you’ll be able to catch the performance that precedes this magnificent pyrotechnic spectacle.

American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Season

The Metropolitan Opera House’s summer season is in full swing, with classics like Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet lighting up the stage in Manhattan. Dress up, bring that special someone, and take in one of the most refined cultural experiences in the world.
